What do Deadside cheats actually do? ESP, aimbot and radar explained for new players
Closed thread Closed by archiveok dumb question incoming. i have about 40 hours in deadside, mostly solo, and every time i read about cheats people throw around esp, radar, aimbot, loot esp like everyone just knows what they are. what do they actually do in game? is esp just a wallhack? is radar different? not trying to start drama, i just want to understand what i’m reading before i go down the rabbit hole.

Replies are closedesp and wallhack are basically the same thing in practice. it draws info on your screen about players and npcs, usually boxes, names, distance, health. radar is that same info on a little 2d minimap instead of drawn on the world.
lol 40 hours and still getting deleted at the military base? relatable
lmao yes. a guy with a mosin deleted me from a treeline i didn’t even know was there
that’s exactly the situation info features are made for. loot esp is another one, it marks items so you’re not checking every shack. aimbot is the one that moves your aim for you, usually with settings for fov and smoothing so it doesn’t snap around like crazy
aimbot is a different category from the rest tho. esp and radar only give you information, you still have to shoot. people mix those up constantly
true but try explaining that to someone who just got headshot lol
Most products split into a few buckets. Information stuff (esp, radar, loot markers), aim stuff (aimbot, recoil control), and misc things like brightness or a custom crosshair. The important part is that the exact features differ per product, so read the actual feature list on the Deadside cheats page instead of trusting forum posts, mine included.
ok that clears it up a lot. so radar and esp overlap but they’re not the same thing screen wise. any reason to prefer one?
radar is nicer in big open areas where you want the whole picture. esp is nicer up close when you need to know exactly where someone is standing. most people just run both
also check the live status page before you launch anything. features don’t matter if it’s down after a patch
